Scott Crown
Scott has had the honor of serving this industry since 1985. Starting out in installation, moving on to national distribution, then a global manufacturer for 17 years proved to be the perfect trifecta for him to gain the experience and skill set to eventually form Professional Sales Representatives and KOABD. After traveling for many years around the globe he made the decision to work with some good friends to be a part of building a brand/business in the sales agency space. They truly believed that a Professional Sales organization was a goal worth working towards. The partnerships at PSR soon proved to need additional support and consulting above a traditional sales agency, so KOABD was founded on the premise of enhancing market presence for clients and aligning with strategic accounts. Scott enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially his two sons, Justin & Aaron. He enjoys many hobbies, and most importantly being a part of a family both personally and professionally.
Taylor Tandy
Taylor spent the start of her career in the security and AV industry in 2009 running Channel Sales. From there she joined PSR in 2012 where she ran Outside Sales for Utah and surrounding territories and worked with National Accounts. She then joined LiveView Technologies as a Key Account Specialist and moved to create and manage their Events Team. In 2018 she started Wasatch Consulting Group, a Digital Marketing agency focused on growing and supporting businesses through social media, content development, SEO/SEM strategies and digital advertising across multiple platforms. Taylor works closely with Scott and has partnered with many KOABD brands to consult and implement marketing strategies.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She and her husband own a CrossFit gym and enjoy entrepreneurship, health & fitness and spending time outdoors as a family skiing, hiking, biking, running and traveling.
Marty Smith
Marty Smith is a nationally recognized leader in the fire and life safety industry with over 40 years of experience, including executive roles at ADT Commercial, Red Hawk Fire & Security, and as Co-Founder and CEO of Alarm Tech Solutions. He founded and led ADT’s National Fire & Life Safety Team, overseeing a $500M+ business transformation. Marty now serves as President & CEO of ATS Advisors, where he consults for manufacturers, integrators, and developers, and sits on the board of BluePoint Alert Solutions. He holds multiple advanced industry certifications including CFPS and GROL, and is a published contributor and technical reviewer for OSHA. His career is marked by innovation, leadership, and a deep commitment to advancing safety technology.
Bill Fitzhenry
Bill Fitzhenry has extensive experience working with companies to develop Go-To-Market (GTM) growth strategies, particularly in the security, technology, and business services sectors. Over his 40+ year career, he has held senior leadership roles such as President BluePoint Alert Solutions, Chief Sales Officer at Bastion Security, Senior Vice President at Securitas Electronic Security, and executive positions at Diebold, Protec Inc., Stanley Security Solutions, and Honeywell. Through his advisory and consulting roles he has continued to help companies craft effective market strategies, improve sales enablement, develop strategic partnerships, and accelerate growth via vision-driven planning and communication.
Hisham Harake
Hisham Harake brings 35 years of executive leadership experience in the fire and life safety industry, guiding organizations through growth, market change, and innovation. He has led business development initiatives that opened new domestic and international markets, built lasting strategic partnerships, and introduced solutions that have advanced safety technology and standards. His expertise spans product strategy, market expansion, and operational leadership, with a track record of aligning technical excellence with business outcomes. Now working as a consultant, Hisham supports companies in strengthening their market position, developing competitive and innovative products, and navigating complex regulatory and global landscapes.
Ric McCullough
Ric McCullough is a 40+ year veteran of the electronic security industry, having served in senior management roles that have dynamically shaped and grown people and companies. If you took equal parts of passion, customer focus, strategy, positivity, and an unabashed love of people and mixed them all together - you can start to envision the chemistry that has made him successful in business and life. McCullough retired from full-time work as president of PSA Security Network at the end of 2022. He now works in an independent, consultative role with people and companies who share his mindset and love of this industry.
Frank Ryan
Frank joined the Security Industry early in his career in 1980. During his time in the Industry he has had the good fortune to work in a variety of executive roles, including CFO and VP of Sales & Marketing, as well as acting as a consultant with a number of firms to advise and augment their sales efforts. The key to Frank’s success during his career has been building relationships with coworkers at all levels and with customers of all sizes. Frank enjoys travel, golf and spending time with his family!
Justin Crown
Justin Crown is an emerging research professional with experience in both the public and private sectors. At BluePoint Alert Solutions, he conducted in-depth research on industry trends and challenges, helping develop safety solutions that reduce risk and improve outcomes. He also served as a legislative intern for Colorado House Representative Woodrow, where he performed policy research, tracked legislation, and analyzed key state issues. Through these roles, Justin has developed strong analytical skills, legislative insight, and the ability to translate complex information into practical solutions.
